1949 Harley-Davidson FL, panhead, authentic Hydra-Glide, (first year for hydro-front suspension).
Approx 5,000 miles on engine overhaul. The saddle bags are Bucco and all other items are original H-D, though luggage rack is for different year. Tires 90% good. Seat orig but recovered RE-done between 1999-2001 in Wisconsin by prof HD mechanic in Wisc. Offers considered.
The HD runs, starts, rides, but needs carburetor cleaned out, and a general tune-up (spark plugs, points, etc.). Paint condition, it's been repainted to original color,, see photos.
This HD is a real genuine classic bike. A hard to find bike in original condition/parts that can be used, this is a very unique bike and is considered a good rider.
It is all HD, there is nothing on the bike that is NOT orig., unmolested frame, (still has loops for side car), not chopped or welded, has matching numbers, etc., ...... you can ride it and enjoy it for a bunch of years as is, or very easy restore for museum.
It starts great, runs good, I use it a couple times a week, so its as reliable as any old 1949 vehicle.
